Diane Stuart is a Drinkable Arts® Independent Rep in the Long Island NY area.

 

Born and raised on Long Island, Diane has always had a passion for the arts. At a young age, she started acrylic painting and one of her canvas paintings was featured in MOMA (museum of modern art) at the age of 16. She soon discovered that there was so much more to art than just paint on a canvas and began making mosaics, sculptures and stained glass art. After high school she received a scholarship to International Fine Arts College in Miami, FL.

 

As Diane advanced she decided that her true passions were not only creating art but helping other people in her community and she began her studies in healthcare management. She completed her MBA at Stony Brook University as well as her advanced graduate degree in Healthcare Management and Public Policy. Over the years she has been involved in many community events, fundraising and in raising awareness in her community for disease and preventable illnesses. She has been employed at Stony Brook University Hospital since 2006 but felt she had so much more to offer. Upon attending various painting nights she decided it was her turn to share all of her creative abilities and was exhilarated to join the Drinkable Arts tea. Her optimistic attitude and upbeat personality made her a perfect match and we are excited to have her on the Drinkable Arts team.
